Which step of CORE are you overlooking?

In the past week, I spoke at two events in Sydney. Afterward, several attendees shared where the CORE framework resonated with them.

One person admitted reflection was their challenge. They rarely pause to see how their self-talk impacts them and how they get in their own way.

Another shared that they are currently working through the “C” in CORE, getting clearer on their intentions, values, and leadership style, and now need help practicing and building the habits that bring those intentions to life.

Someone else realized they need to focus on operationalizing. They have not put enough thought into how to bridge the gap between their intentions and their actions.

Another realized it was time to reassess their current values and priorities in order to bring more purpose and alignment into their life.

The magic of CORE is that each step draws people in differently, yet leads them through the full process.

Hearing these responses has been profoundly fulfilling.

The CORE framework rests on four interconnected steps.

Clarify: Identify what truly matters. Your values, priorities, strengths, and who you want to become. This provides a clear foundation for your decisions and direction.

Operationalize: Turn your intention into action. What habits will demonstrate your values and priorities?

Reflect: Understand where you get in your own way by examining self-talk, triggers, and limiting beliefs. This enables you to choose how to show up as the person you want to be in the moment.

Evaluate: Assess your progress and how others experience your actions so you can refine your impact.

It was a pleasure to see the room embrace leading themselves with more intention, with different parts of the framework revealing different blind spots for different people.

When you read the four steps of CORE, is there one you have been overlooking?

I’d love to hear where you’re ready to focus. What part of CORE resonates most with you right now?
